There are two types of refunds they are non-refundable & refundable. Refundable tickets will process your refund after your application procedure is completed and access your refund within working days to your account through which you have made the booking. Whereas the non-refundable tickets generally do not offer cash in return, they often just credit a voucher for future travel amendments, hence they also charge for the cancellation fees.
While you make a new booking you have to keep in mind whether the flight ticket you are booking does have the refund & cancellation concession or not. The customer will be eligible for the complete waiver only if he cancels the tickets within 24 hours of the flight departure. We should consider your refund request within the decision depending on the relevant airline to process your refund upon cancellation. Usually, this process takes around 10-7 business days. Thus the refund process may include some of the variable charges well that completely depend on the airline's background and whether they have the refund & cancellation services on their tickets or not.
For the refund you have to appeal for the refund request, if the airline accepts your cancellation & refund request then the refund amount will be processed to your working account through which you made the booking. So basically the refund process will take around 4-5 business weeks from scratch. All this procedure will approximately depend on the airline's background though they even they even charge a refund penalty.
Ticket corrections while making the booking.
